Crisis on Infinite Earths EP Claims He Isn't Aware of The Flash Movie's Plot

In case you missed it, Crisis on Infinite Earths just proved it was the biggest Arrowverse crossover with an epic cameo from Justice League star Ezra Miller. But does this mean that Crisis will affect what will happen in the upcoming Flash movie? Marc Guggenheim says he has no idea since he never got to read the script for the Warner Bros. film.

Guggenheim revealed to Comicbook.com that he had not planned on bringing Miller into the crossover. Instead, the Arrowverse executive producer confirmed that it was Warner Bros. that wanted Miller to appear in Crisis.

"It actually was incredibly surreal," Guggenheim said. "And Peter Roth, he basically started the phone call with, 'okay, you're not going to believe this. You're not going to believe I'm asking this.' And it was really surreal. And I was driving to work, and I think I almost crashed my car."

But did they decide to use a few key points from the planned Flash film that will adapt the Flashpoint storyline? Guggenheim says he has no idea what will happen in the movie.

"Everything we put in there, we put in there with the approval of Warner Brothers Theatrical," Guggenheim said, "but I haven't read a draft. No one's even pitched me what the movie is. I was really writing blind, quite frankly. And there was some ad-libbing on the day, but we had someone from Warner Brothers Theatrical, there onset, everything was vetted. But it's definitely information provided on a need to know basis. Truth be told I didn't really need to know in order to like the theme."

For now, we can't be too sure what will happen in The Flash movie. Nevertheless, it was awesome to see Miller in action again.

The Flash movie has not yet been given an official production start date or a release date.
