Crisis On Infinite Earths: Brandon Routh Teases First Look At Kingdom Come Superman

It looks like filming for Crisis on Infinite Earths has started and Brandon Routh is preparing for his new/old role as the Man of Steel. The Legends of Tomorrow star has just teased on our first look at Kingdom Come Superman.

Routh shared the image on his official Instagram account and although it only shows his silhouette, it's quite clear that we're looking at Superman because of that trademark cowlick. Take a look at the photo below.

It's a teeny tiny look at what we can all look forward to but fans are already loving it. Here's hoping that Routh will share more awesome photos in the future.

Routh is only one of many actors who will play Superman in Crisis on Infinite Earths. It has already been confirmed that Smallville star Tom Welling will reprise his role as Clark Kent in the Arrowverse crossover and Tyler Hoechlin, who plays the Man of Steel in Supergirl, is expected to play a major role as well. However, Routh holds the distinction of playing two different characters as he is also set to portray Ray Palmer in the event.

Speaking of Ray Palmer, it looks like The CW has found the perfect replacement now that Routh is leaving Legends of Tomorrow. It was previously reported that Osric Chau will be joining Crisis on Infinite Earths as Ryan Choi, the comic book character who would eventually take on the Atom mantle. Could the Supernatural actor replace Ray in the CW series? We may find out later this year.

Crisis on Infinite Earths kicks on this December.
