I think most of us can agree that Johnny Depp's fans are some of the most passionate folks in the world. During the height of the actor's seemingly neverending controversies involving his ex-wife Amber Heard, the Hollywood icon's legions of supporters proved their loyalty and allegiance to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor up until he won the highly-publicized defamation trial last June.

We've also proven that most, if not all of them have made it their mission to target Amber, and over the last couple of years, that has been the whole agenda. Unfortunately, one of Johnny's most avid supporters and the person mainly responsible for launching a huge online movement against the controversial actress recently passed away amid attempts from Heard's camp to appeal the verdict of their defamation case.

Jeanne Larson, the creator of the viral Change.org petition demanding Warner Bros. Discovery to fire Amber from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom died this week. The said petition which was launched in 2020 currently has over 4.6 million signatures and counting. In a Facebook post, Jeanne's son confirmed the sad news. Her cause of death wasn't revealed but according to a separate post, she went into a diabetic coma and was on life support before succumbing to her condition.

Larson has constantly updated her petition by adding sublinks to other petitions, most recently a movement calling for the reopening of the UK appeal in the actor's case. I think we can safely say that she was really dedicated to Depp and stuck with him until the end. It's just too sad that she never got to meet her hero personally.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set for release on December 25, 2023.
