The new teaser for Cowboy Bebop is finally here and we got an awesome glimpse at Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, and Faye Valentine in action in The Lost Sessions.
The Cowboy Bebopteaser is titled The Lost Sessions and it opens with Jet telling his companions about a new bounty on the line. Spike asks if it is worth the trouble and Jet says it is if they want to keep the lights on in the Bebop.
Faye is eager to join in but Jet and Black tell her they can handle it on their own. Naturally, that doesn't sit well with Faye who charges into action.
The teaser pretty much speeds through the chase for the bounty who isn't shown in the footage. We do, however, get a cool glimpse at Vicious in Spike's thoughts and the team in plenty of action. The best thing about the teaser is it ends with an awesome shot of the Bebop.
We're loving this new teaser as it pretty much confirms that John Cho was perfectly cast in the role of Spike. It's also awesome to see Mustafa Shakir and Daniella Pineda taking on their roles and we can't wait to see the whole series this November.
The wait for Cowboy Bebop has been a long one considering that production on the series was delayed due to COVID-19 and Cho's injury while filming. Luckily, production resumed as soon as the Star Trek actor had recovered and the first season was completed earlier this year. Although it was a long wait, fans of the original anime are convinced that it is all worth it.
Cowboy Bebop will also star Alex Hassell, Elena Satine, Geoff Stults, Tamara Tunie, Mason Alexander Park, Rachel House, Ann Truong, Hoa Xuande, James Hiroyuki Liao, and more. The first season of the live-action series will premiere on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
