Cowboy Bebop Drops New Look at John Cho's Spike Spiegel

There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to seeing John Cho in action in Cowboy Bebop. After all, the live-action adaptation of the beloved anime has been delayed for a long time due to Cho's injury and COVID-19.

Luckily, Netflix knows how to get fans hyped up for the upcoming series. A new photo of Spike Spiegel has just been dropped and it offers a better look at Cho's suave suit.

The new Cowboy Bebop image was shared by Entertainment Weekly as part of their spread of Fall 2021's lineup. The picture shows Spike confidently walking past a cafe with dark glasses on. It's also a better view of the Netflix show's version of Spike's smooth blue suit. Check it out below.

We're loving the look on Cho who truly embodies Spike's style and confidence. Needless to say, we can't wait to see the first trailer for Cowboy Bebop before the show's premiere in November.

Although fans have certain expectations about Cowboy Bebop, showrunner Andre Nemec makes it clear that you won't find a frame-by-frame recreation of the anime's episodes. Nemec stated that the series will "build out the continuing stories of Spike Spiegel and Jet Black and Faye Valentine while also mining their past stories from the anime."

Cowboy Bebop will also star Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, Alex Hassell as Vicious, and Elena Satine as Julia. The series will consist of 10 episodes that will air on Netflix on November 24, 2021.
