Cowboy Bebop: Netflix Shares 3 New Character Posters For Its Live-Action Adaptation

Netflix's live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop is set to premiere next month, and with the streamer recently sharing the first trailer for the show, it's clear that the series is looking to honor the source material in various ways. Today, Netflix has shared three new character posters featuring John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine. The posters give us a new look at the trio of infamous bounty hunters, and each poster features a quote associated with the characters.

The poster featuring Spike pays homage to the finale of the anime, when Spike becomes ultimately successful in his mission, but the final moments reveal that the space cowboy of the Bebop only has a few breaths left in his body, with Spiegel letting out a final "Bang" before the moment basically hits his end. At this point, it's still unclear if the live-action adaptation will hold the same fate for the protagonist, but since the Netflix series is said to stay true to its source material, it's likely that it will happen in the final episode.

Hopefully, Netflix will release more character posters featuring other characters like Vicious (played by Alex Hassell), Julia (Elena Satine), Shin (Ann Truong), Asimov (Jan Uddin), Ana (Tamara Tunie), Punch (Lucy Currey), and Lin (Hoa Xuande), and Ein, the "Data Dog". And if you're wondering if the hacker of the Bebop, Ed will appear in the show, showrunner André Nemec already teased the character's appearance in the live-action adaptation.

Netflix's Cowboy Bebop is set to release on November 19, 2021. For more details about the series, check out everything you need to know about it here, and don't forget to follow our Netflix Rocks My World page on Facebook for the latest updates.
