Cover for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary Confirms The TIE Dagger and More

Though big reveals for Star Wars are expected to come at the D23 Expo next month, we still got some great things here and there in time for SDCC 2019. Just in, we have the cover for the visual dictionary for The Rise of Skywalker, and it gives us a look at a Knight of Ren, plus the new TIE and a lot more.

Check it out:

Front and center we have a Knight of Ren, and he's seen wielding a "Vibro-scythe blade". We don't really know who he is, but he can very well pull off an alternate design for Kylo Ren in The Force Awakens. Looking at the TIE Dagger though, we still have no idea what it does, but I think it's interesting to have a simple shape on the side of the cockpit like a triangle, unlike the traditional TIE that had squares.

Besides that, the cover also has a Sith Trooper helmet, Rey, and C-3PO. We also have a look at a new droid mascot called D-O, plus the weapon of new character Jannah which is called an "energy bow."

Though TROS is currently under the tightest of wraps right now, I imagine the fans would have been smothered in marketing by the time the movie comes out. I can already imagine the countless videos poring over every frame of the official TROS trailer, and it can't come soon enough.

Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it comes out Dec. 20.
