Courtney Fulk is a budding 25-year-old actress who doesn't have too many films or TV shows under her belt at the moment.

But as she takes over Eden McCoy's role in General Hospital, she will likely be contacted for more projects in the future.

Before General Hospital, Fulk was in two other TV movies, Killer Cheer Mom and Student Seduction.

Her role in Killer Cheer Mom was the stepdaughter of Denise Richards. She will also be playing the role of young Sam in the upcoming Devil's Ride movie.

When she was attending Buena High School, Fulk appeared in one stage production. But she soon realized that she wasn't into theater.

When she was 13, she started her career as a model. After that, she received an invitation to an acting program in LA.

According to the General Hospital fandom page, Fulk will be playing Josslyn in General Hospital until early February 2024.

Ever since the character of Josslyn Jacks debuted in General Hospital, she has always had a troubled childhood. Now that she has grown up, her life has gotten more complicated.

The General Hospital character first made an appearance as a teenager in 2009. Back then, the role was played by Jamie Lea Willett. The role was then played by twins Karleigh and McKenna Larson until 2012.

After that, the role was played by Sarah Johnson and Paige Oliver. In 2014, Hannah Nordberg took over the role for eight months. And in October 2015, Eden McCoy stepped in to fill the role of the teenager.

So, why did General Hospital recast Josslyn's character? In December 2023, it was revealed that Eden McCoy had gone on a sabbatical. This follows after the Emmy Awards winner lost her mom to cancer in November 2023.

After Courtney Fulk was temporarily introduced as Josslyn, McCoy was seen in Las Vegas with some friends.

Since then, McCoy also went on a relaxing getaway to the mountains on her sabbatical.

A spokesperson for McCoy told Deadline that she will "return at the beginning of the new year."
