Could Gamorrean Guards Spotted In Star Wars: The Mandalorian Suggest The Presence Of A Hutt?

Lucasfilm always keeps the secrets of its upcoming projects close to its chest, but thanks to sneaky fans, leaked images and information from the set of Star Wars: The Mandalorian still manage to make their way online.

That Hashtag Show has the latest update on Jon Favreau's upcoming live-action Star Wars series, and according to the newest claim by the publication, Gamorrean guards were spotted on the set of The Mandalorian.

While it might not mean much to see a known alien species in the series, fans remember that Gamorrean guards helped protect Jabba's palace in Star Wars: Episode VI –Return of the Jedi. The site might not have given any further details about the roles of the Gamorrean's in The Mandalorian, but if the guards have been spotted on set, then that might mean the presence of another Hutt. After all, the live-action series is to take place in the "outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic" as it follows the story of a lone gunfighter played by Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal.

In other news regarding The Mandalorian, leaked plot details surrounding the series made its way online earlier this week, and according to reports, Pascal's Mandalorian warrior would be joined by a child on the show.

After stumbling across a child in one his missions, Pascal's decides to raise young one to become the heir of Mandalore.

Of course, as exciting as it might sound, fans ought to be reminded to take these rumors with a grain of salt. It's very hard to trust information online unless it comes from a legitimate source, or if it comes from Lucasfilm itself.

Let's just wait and see what happens.
