Could Avengers: Endgame Have Ripped Off Scenes From Batman v Superman?

Avengers: Endgame might be miles ahead of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in terms of commercial and critical reception, but it looks like the film might actually have sequences similar to Zack Snyder's second DC Extended Universe entry.

Social media users have been pointing out similarities between sequences in the third act of Endgame and in Dawn of Justice, one going as far as putting together a video showing side-by-side comparisons of the two.

Check it out down here:

While it's highly unlikely that Joe and Anthony Russo copied Snyder's cinematographic vision for Batman v Superman, the shots do seem pretty similar. We get to see comparisons between scenes like Wonder Woman fighting Doomsday with scenes of Captain Marvel taking on Thanos. Superman's death scene is also compared to Iron Man's death and his funeral. Bruce Wayne's conversation with Diana is also likened to Clint Barton's conversation with Scarlet Witch – the dialogue can even be taken in the same kind of light.

Right now, Endgame is enjoying overwhelming critical and commercial success. Both fans and critics love the film for properly culminating the Marvel Cinematic Universe, putting an end to the stories of beloved characters like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).

One of the most highly anticipated films of the year, it comes as no surprise hearing that the film has already managed to bring in more than $2 billion at the worldwide box office. We can't wait and see how high this film can soar.

Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in cinemas.
