Cobra Kai Season 4 Teaser Reveals The Return of Major Karate Kid Villain


Today, Netflix has released a new short teaser for Cobra Kai Season 4, showing the back of the modern Terry Silver, a major villain from the 1985 Karate Kid 3 movie and the man who founded the Cobra Kai dojo.

The last episode of Cobra Kai Season 3 shared some hints that Terry Silver would return in Season 4. The villain was also given a secret backstory throughout the third season, with the reveal that he was a prisoner of war alongside John Kreese in Vietnam, and it turns out that Silver feels that he owes Kreese a favor after saving his life. A scene in the finale shows Kreese picking up the phone to call Silver, and now the latest teaser confirms that he will return in Season 4.

Terry Silver debuted in Karate Kid 3 as he presented himself as an ally to Daniel LaRusso, telling him that he could take him to the next level and drawing him away from Myagi, but Silver turns out to be a major villain.

"Since the beginning of the series, we've been carefully orchestrating the right moment to unleash Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver back into the universe," executive producers Josh Heald, Hayden Schlossberg, and Jon Hurwitz said in a statement. "That moment is now. We can't wait for the whole world to experience Thomas Ian Griffith's majestic return to the franchise."
