Clinton & Trump Use Pokemon Go References To Catch Voters

The popular augmented reality game Pokemon Go has been everywhere this month, and now, the global phenomenon made its way to the 2016 campaign trail. Hillary's website is now promoting a voter registration and meetup event at a PokeStop near Cleveland.

You can read the description for the event taking place this Saturday in Lakewood, Ohio:

"Join us as we go to the Pokestop in Madison Park and put up a lure module, get free pokemon, & battle each other while you register voters and learn more about Sec. Hillary Clinton!!! Kids welcome!"

Clinton also used a Pokemon Go reference at a rally in Virginia on Thursday:

"I don't know who created Pokemon Go, but I'm trying to figure out how to get them to have 'Pokemon Go to the Polls,' " Clinton punned to a crowd clearly cheering for reasons not related to the actual humor content of that line.

That was pretty corny.

Clinton's presumptive Republican opponent Donand Trump isn't going down without a fight, so he responded by posting this Pokemon-inspired swipe at her on Facebook:

So who do you think used a Pokemon Go reference better? Vote now in the comments section below.
