The anime’s first season may have ended back in September, but now, fans have new content to look forward to. That’s because Classroom for Heroes is getting an OVA that’s NSFW. After all, this OVA features the series’ cast in a hot spring.
This upcoming OVA was revealed on the anime’s official website. There, it was confirmed that the OVA will be part of the anime’s Blu-ray Volume 1, which will be available in early 2024.
On top of this, fans can also look forward to a stage event for the series tomorrow. Many are hoping that a new season announcement will be made there.
New Classroom for Heroes Stage Event Is Happening Tomorrow
Classroom for Heroes is an anime by Actas, the studio behind other titles such as Princess Principal and Girls Und Panzer.
The anime is also notable for being directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, a veteran animator who has directed lots of popular shows.
These include anime such as Spy Classroom, Shadowverse, and Please Tell Me! Galko-chan.
It may seem like an isekai at first, but Classroom for Heroes is a harem fantasy anime. The show follows Arnest Flaming, a studious hero-in-training who is tasked with the carefree slacker Blade.
The show has not gotten renewed for a second season yet, but fans are hoping that an announcement will be made soon. That’s because a stage event for the series is happening tomorrow, December 6.
This event will feature Blade VA Reiji Kawashima (Finn Ames in Mashle) and director Kawaguchi. There’s no word yet on whether there will be an announcement, but attendees will be treated to special activities.

Classroom for Heroes NSFW OVA to Be Released in Blu-ray Volume 1
For those who won’t be able to attend the stage event, they can at least look forward to the upcoming OVA.
This upcoming episode is titled True Thermae, and it follows King Gilgamesh as he opens Rosewood Academy’s hot spring but with mixed bathing allowed without swimsuits.
Based on the OVA’s synopsis and preview images, this special episode will definitely be NSFW, so it makes sense why it will only be released on the Blu-ray version.
Classroom for Heroes’ Blu-ray Volume 1 will be released in Japan on January 26, 2024. Along with the OVA, there will be other bonuses included such as the creditless OP and ED, as well as the AnimeJapan stage recording.
For fans outside of Japan, there’s no word on whether the OVA will be available on Crunchyroll.
