Christopher Nolan’s Tenet Gets an Official Poster

After Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan is set to return to the world of action sci-fi with his next film, Tenet. WB had just dropped the trailer for the film, and now we have an official poster highlighting the importance of time.

The poster kind of looks like a clock, and though the trailer isn't really clear, it's been said that time travel will be an important element in this film. Of course, the movie posts something more complicated than that. If anything, I'm sure we're going to get the whole story once the movie starts rolling in theaters.

With Inception dealing with a bunch of thieves, it looks like this time Nolan is going to turn around and put the focus on this group of secret lawmen. We don't really know what their job is specifically, but besides time travel, it's curious that John David Washington's character should be welcomed to the ‘afterlife.'

Besides Washington, the movie is also set to have Robert Pattinson as the co-lead. Other actors in the film include Kenneth Branagh and Elizabeth Debicki; and since this is a Nolan movie, we're also getting a part for Michael Caine, and likely Cillian Murphy as well.

No official synopsis has been released for Tenet, but I'm sure the marketing team will come up with a premise that doesn't give too much away to the audience. I'm sure Nolan would want to keep everything under wraps until the official release.

Catch Tenet when it hits theaters on July 17, 2020.
