Christopher Nolan's 'Dark Knight' Trilogy Returning to Cinemas

One reason why some fans have been disappointed with the DCEU is because of how good Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy is. DC fans often bring up how The Dark Knight is a lot better than most Marvel movies, which is true, but when you consider how no DC film since the trilogy has matched that movie's quality, you know they had something special.

Well, if you like good Batman movies (or are one of those pretentious dorks who has to constantly point out how no Marvel movie is better than The Dark Knight) then you will be happy to know that these films are coming back to cinemas for a limited time.

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. Revealed that The Dark Knight trilogy would be showing in select cinemas around five cities, starting with a Los Angeles kickoff that will have Christopher Nolan present for a Q and A after. This is all to celebrate the 80th birthday of Batman, which will be happening on March 27 when Detective Comics #27 first came out.

Nolan will be in attendance for the kickoff event that day for back-to-back-to-back screenings of 2005's Batman Begins, 2008's The Dark Knight and 2012's TheDark Knight Rises at the Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk in Universal City. The screenings move to New York on April 13 at AMC Lincoln Square, followed by AMC Metreon in San Francisco, Cinesphere Ontario Place in Toronto and Imax Theatre at the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis later in the month, each accompanied by the footage of Nolan's Los Angeles appearance. In all five cities, the movies will be seen in Nolan's preferred Imax 70mm.

Who else is pumped to see these movies again?
