Christian Bale Says He Still Hasn’t Seen Ben Affleck’s Version Of Batman

It's been a while since Ben Affleck's been suiting up as the DC Extended Universe's Dark Knight, but it seems like Batman Begins star Christian Bale still hasn't seen any of the actor's work as the Caped Crusader.

Though some would compare Bale's version of Batman to Affleck's it seems like Bale wouldn't be able to make any sort of comparison at all. Sitting down to speak with Collider about the offer Lucasfilm made him to appear in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Bale says that he hasn't seen any of the DCEU films with Affleck's Batman even though his son showed interest.

"I have not [seen Ben Affleck's Batman]. Yes I'm interested [in seeing it], my son seemed like he was really interested, but then I realized he just wanted to see the trailer and that was it—I tend to go see films that [my kids] want to see. I have to confess I'm not a huge superhero film fan. People seem surprised at that, I don't know why. I've not seen any of the Avengers films or any of those films at all. I hear they're very good, but I'm quite happy just hearing they're very good."

Bale did previously say that he wasn't one for superhero movies and it seems like he's been sticking to his guns. Guess we won't be having Bale in a Marvel movie just yet, though it does seem like he might make it to Star Wars galaxy far, far away soon enough.

Justice League is expected to have its home release sometime in January or February this year.
