Chris Pratt Teases Star-Lord Appearance Before GOTG 3

It might take a while for Marvel fans to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but that doesn't mean we won't get to see the cosmic thugs turned heroes making a few cameos in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Guardians of the Galaxy's Star-Lord actor Chris Pratt was in attendance at this year's D23 and the Marvel star got to talk with MTV during the expo, asking whether or not fans would see Peter Quill elsewhere in the MCU before he returned for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The Guardians franchise has been quite a hit, however, the film wasn't announced in Marvel's line up for Phase 4 of the MCU, probably because the movie's director, James Gunn, still has to complete his work on The Suicide Squad for the DC Extended Universe.

Responding to the question about his next Marvel appearance, Pratt went on with a large knowing grin on his face, giving a teasing answer that lets fans believe that he may actually pop up in a Phase 4 movie or series at one point or another.

"I know the answer to that. I know the answer to that. But I can't tell you!" the actor tells the entertainment news outlet.

Could Star-Lord be making an advance appearance before Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? We can't really be sure, but maybe we'd get to see a bit of the Guardians in Thor: Love and Thunder. After all, it seems like Chris Hemsworth's Asgardian God of Thunder has been tied to Marvel's brassy space heroes for quite a while now. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Guardians tag along with Thor in his next movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has yet to receive a release date but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
