Chris Pratt on Whether Thor is in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Ever since Thor (Chris Hemsworth) started tagging along with the Guardians of the Galaxy during the final act of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel fans have been wondering whether they'll get to see the Asgardian God of Thunder in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.

Speaking in an interview with IGN hosts Syndee Goodman and Max Scoville on the red carpet of Onward's world premiere, Guardians of the Galaxy Star-Lord actor Chris Pratt was asked whether or not Marvel fans might be able to expect Thor in the third Guardians movie.

Pratt decided to answer the question with a question, asking the hosts "how do you know that Thor's not in Guardians 3?

"We haven't started it yet. He might be in Guardians 3. We don't know. There's no definitive yes or no on that. We'll just have to wait and see," Pratt told IGN.

This might not seem like a very satisfying response, but it's either Pratt doesn't really know what James Gunn has planned for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (the director is still busy working on DC's The Suicide Squad movie), or Pratt doesn't want to spoil the third Guardians movie for fans.

Gunn however, seems to have little interest in the possibility of Thor joining the Guardians. According to the filmmaker, the events of Endgame has no impact on his plans for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Guess we'll just have to hold on to the hope that Thor will continue his shenanigans with the Guardians. The Asgardian God of Thunder really did seem like a perfect addition to the team.

Avengers: Endgame is available on Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and DVD.
