What happens when two buff superstars have an exchange of words on social media? Absolute hilarity. Avengers: Endgame star Chris Hemsworth has just responded to Dwayne Johnson's Thor crossover challenge and it will have you in stitches.
Johnson has previously tagged Hemsworth in a post proposing a major crossover where he gets to beat up Thor. The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star had added the hashtag #ThorHitsTheFloor, something that Hemsworth immediately picked up on and responded to. Take a look at his tweet below.
"When you say Thor hits the floor I assume you mean the dance floor right? A remake of Dirty Dancing?! Mate, I'm in!!" Hemworth wrote.
That's ... actually not a bad idea, and Johnson is digging it. However, he's not a fan of the pink dress he's wearing in the photo.
"At least you could've put me in a black dress. Something more my speed! But you're right, NOBODY puts Rock in the corner. I'm in too," Johnson responded.
Although we're not sure if the Dirty Dancing remake is happening anytime soon, it's great to know that Hemsworth and Johnson are already looking forward to working with each other. We'll keep you posted on this one for sure.
Both stars are certainly busy with their own projects right now. Johnson is currently working on Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt as well as Hobbs & Shaw with Jason Statham. Hemsworth is filming Dhaka in India.
Hemsworth will return as Thor in Avengers: Endgame, which premieres on April 26. Johnson's Hobbs & Shaw is scheduled for release on August 2.
