Chris Hemsworth on Why Thor Was Crying in Deadpool & Wolverine
In a recent interview, Hemsworth was directly asked why Thor was crying in Deadpool & Wolverine.
The actor laughed first before he responded, "Iām asking the same question, I donāt know. Youāll have to keep your focus on the Marvel Universe 'cause there will be an answer. It will be told one day."
This is an intriguing response from Hemsworth as he is suggesting that the mystery will eventually be resolved and it was not just a simple gag that the film did for comedic purposes.
Ryan Reynolds has also addressed the mystery and also teased that it will pay off at some point in the MCU.
"You know what? I got this one, Shawn [Levy]. I'll just say that it's something that we are going to account for at some point. That's about all I can really say right now, but we will account for it," he said.
Whether we will get some answers on Avengers: Secret Wars or not, this is an encouraging comment for fans who have been invested in the mystery and would love to see a resolution.
After all, the MCU has a penchant for resolving or revisiting storylines from the past and they are willing to take as long as they need before they will finally offer an answer on-screen.
