Chris Evan's contract with Marvel Studios is going to come to an end after Avengers 4, and fans have been crying over the posts the Captain America star has been making after announcing that he's wrapped up his work on the reshoots to the Infinity War sequel.
Now, as Avengers 4 wraps up production, Evans decides to look back at the things that he's achieved while staying in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Speaking with fans in front of a panel at this year's ACE Comic Con (via ComicBook.com), Evans was asked to describe his favorite moments as Steve Rogers in the MCU.
"That's tough because you have memories that are a little more shared and you have memories that are a little more personal," Evans told fan attending the panel." I mean, moment, even just like this. That really felt wonderful to here, and it was nice to hear some cheers. Not to seem saccharine, it's the more personal moments without question. It's the more intimate moments when you process that you are part of something that means a lot to a lot [of people]. For a lot of time, it does almost feel almost kind of like it's happening to someone else...Sometimes it does feel a little out-of-body-ish, and over a long enough period of time, you start to feel really connected to the experience and connected to the character and connected to the world...I couldn't tell you what the most memorable thing is, it comes in really subtle ways, but it is the more personal things."
Evans has definitely had a long run in the MCU. First appearing in Captain America: The First Avenger, the actor has gone on to suit up in multiple films in the franchise including Captain America: Winter Soldier, Avengers, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and so many others.
Though we're not quite sure how Steve's story is going to come to an end in Avengers 4, fans expect Cap to sacrifice his life to bring back all the other heroes that turned into dust at the hands of Thanos after his finger-snapping massacre in Avengers: Infinity War.
Avengers 4 hits cinemas May 3, 2019.
