Chris Evans And Tom Holland Starring In Netflix’s The Devil All The Time

It looks like Marvel star Chris Evans and Tom Holland are teaming up together for a film outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Disney set to take out its Netflix offerings so that it can focus on its own streaming site, the streaming giant has been focusing on creating more original content, and this includes The Devil All The Time, a film starring both Holland and Evans.

Netflix didn't send out a press release for the film, instead announcing the development of The Devil All The Time on its official account on Twitter. While there isn't any word on when the film will officially begin production, the film is going to play out a bit like True Detective where a crime is investigated focusing not on who did the assault but instead on the question why it was done.

The Devil All The Time is set to be produced by Ninestories' Riva Marker and Jake Gyllenhaal, as well as Max Born and Randall Poster. The film is set to star Evans, Holland, Robert Pattinson (the Twilight film series), Bill Skarsgard (IT), Mia Wasikowska (Alice Through the Looking Glass) and up-and-coming actress Eliza Scanlen.

Holland is set to play the role of Arvin, a young boy whose father, Willard Russel, prays that his wife's cancer would be cured after pouring sacrificial blood on his "prayer log." Meanwhile, as Arvin grows up without his parents, a team of husband-and-wife serial killers stalks their prey while a preacher runs from the law together with his friend. In the film, Evans is set to play The Devil All The Time's corrupt sheriff.

The Devil All The Time doesn't have a release date as of yet, but we're going to update everyone once we get word.
