Spider-Man: Far From Home is one month away and Sony are doing what they do best; making too many trailers. Homecoming suffered from this as well, though it didn't ruin the experience for anyone involved and Far From Home is another victim. That being said, the company did well for the Chinese trailer since it has some new footage and it doesn't spoil...much…
Okay, so it does give us a quick glimpse of MJ hugging Peter but that's it! Everything else is what most of us are expecting from these kinds of trailers; cool action sequences without any context to explain what's going on.
We don't get any mentions of a multiverse this time, though we do have Mysterio narrating the trailer, which is interesting. The trailers continue to do a good job of trying to tell people that Jake Gyllenhaal's character is a hero, even though he will most definitely be a villain. I mean, if you google search Mysterio they will immediately reveal that he is a villain.
At the least, we get more of the Elementals doing damage and Peter swinging around with his black Spider-Man outfit (not THAT one). Peter's red/black outfit takes a lot of damage too and fans are assuming that he will get yet another costume by the end, which might be overkill.
Gotta sell those toys I guess…
