China Reveals Its Own WoW Movie

China just unveiled an epic fantasy film called My WoW, and no, this isn't Hollywood's adaptation of Blizzard's popular MMORPG. As the website The Nanfang points out, the Chinese title of the film is ??????, which literally means "My World of Warcraft." Oh. Wow!

Shouldn't that be "Blizzard's World of Warcraft", but it doens't seem Blizzard is involved.

Sina previously reported that the film was revealed at the press conference last month in Shijiazhuang, but details about the film's story, other that it will involve time travel, fantasy and love, weren't revealed. According to The Nanfang, the films 'Chinese tagline translates to: "A man gets transported to a fantasy world of warcraft, where the impossible occurs..."

Director Zhang Wei was quoted saying, "I have injected the entirety of my fervor and passion into this movie, completely depleting the whole of my efforts to show a spectacle that is both sensible to a logical mind and yet remains an unceasing marvel for the eyes to behold."

My Wow is scheduled to open this month, which is right before the actual Warcraft film will be released in theaters.
