Sabrina fans are in for an early Christmas treat. The new trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale has just been dropped. Not surprisingly, the teaser proves that the holiday season is certainly more fun for witches.
The trailer opens with the residents of Greendale lining up to meet Santa Claus. Meanwhile, Sabrina Spellman is still at the Academy of the Unseen Arts greeting the Weird Sisters a "bright solstice." Needless to say, Christmas is very different for humans and witches.
Aunt Zelda later announces that it is time to light the Yule Log. "Otherwise, who knows what might come down our chimney," she says. Interestingly, Santa is shown seemingly approaching a bewildered Sabrina and throwing his sack over her. "Sounds about right," Ambrose declares.
Roz is clearly confused about how the holidays work for her friend. "Is this what Christmas is like being a witch?" she asks. "Not usually," Sabrina responds. This could mean that Christmas ghosts are a new thing to deal with for the Spellmans.
A Midwinter's Tale is certainly something to look forward to considering that it's still a long wait for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2. The next season is set to premiere next year.
The holiday special will also introduce The Haunting of Hill House star McKenna Grace as the young Sabrina. Grace is turning out to be a little scream queen (or princess if you will) considering that one of her next projects is the new Conjuring film.
A Midwinter's Tale will air on Netflix on December 14. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on April 5, 2019.
