The Power Nine are nine rare Magic: The Gathering cards widely regarded as overpowered, and they're all pretty expensive too, especially Black Lotus, which can be worth over $20,000. Of course, not every Magic player can afford to buy original copies of the Power 9, so they use proxies. Redditor ZaphodAVA wanted to make Power 9 proxies that took advantage of the foil layer without messing up the original art too much. ZaphodAVA decided to put images of the artist's signature on the full-art proxies, and the results look wonderful. Check out the images in the gallery above. We've never seen foil versions of these cards before so these proxies would be cool to keep even though they're not official.
