Check Out The Viral Curious Case Of Spider-Man’s Aunt May In #10YearChallenge

There's been a trend going online lately called #10YearChallenge where netizens put up old pictures of themselves alongside photos that they have now, comparing the changes they've gone through over the years. The #10YearChallenge has also become an excellent prompt for memes, and one Marvel fan decided to ride the tide to create the perfect meme for the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Aunt May's #10YearChallenge.

Taking to Twitter, Marvel fan Tesla Cat decided to compare what Aunt May looked like in Spider-Man movies then and what she looks like now. Interestingly enough, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man in 2007 had a considerably aged Aunt May. Now that everyone's favorite web-slinger's managed to crawl up the wall towards Marvel, Aunt May's become, much, much younger. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home's Aunt May is played by Marisa Tomei, and boy, is she the looker.

Check out the curious case of Aunt May in the post down here:

The difference between the 2007 Aunty May played by Rosemary Harris and the 2017 Aunt May by Tomei is pretty startling. At some point, when Tomei was first introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans suspected that Marvel was going to pair Peter's aunt with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark – after all, there'd been a time where Tony and Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Pots decided to take a break from each other.

Though it doesn't seem like the case now with Tony happily engaged and floating up in space in Avengers: Endgame, the trailer for Far From Home suggests a potential romance between May and Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan.

Spider-Man: Far From Home comes swinging into cinemas July 5, 2019.
