The book The Art of Solo: A Star Wars Story had released way back when the movie first came out, but now Lucasfilm has confirmed that they are releasing a book that covers more of the BTS with Making Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Check out the cover:
The book will be coming from Rob Bredow who himself was working on the film as a visual effects supervisor. Bredow was said to have taken random snaps during filming, and found out that he could actually compile a book full of behind-the-scenes goods. He apparently took the concept to Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy who thought that it was a great idea.
Personally, I want to see some more details when it came to original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller leaving the project. I know that Lucasfilm would want to sweep that nasty business under a rug, but I think it wouldn't do the story justice if Lord and Miller's part was cut out from the making.
Hopefully Bredow and Lucasfilm feel the same way.
I'm expecting this book will release alongside the same time Solo hits home video. Catch it on Sept. 14.
