Charlie Cox Rumored To Reprise His Role As Daredevil In Spider-Man 3

Marvel fans were devastated when Netflix decided to cancel Daredevil. The live-action comic book series has been quite a hit, raking in overwhelmingly positive reviews from fans and critics. While we're not quite sure whether Marvel plans to develop a brand new Daredevil series for Disney +, word on the street says that Marvel Studios is interested in bringing in Matt Murdock into the Marvel Cinematic Universe very soon.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, industry insiders say that Marvel plans to bring in Matt Murdock in Spider-Man 3 in 2021. The Marvel comic book hero is reportedly going to appear as Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) lawyer in the next film – the wall-crawler is going to need some legal representation after being accused of murdering Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Marvel's second Spider-Man movie, Far From Home.

But that's not all. The entertainment news outlet also claims that Marvel plans to have Charlie Cox reprise his role as Daredevil and bring him into the film. Daredevil fans might swoon over the news, but We Got This Covered says that the studio plans to keep his involvement in the movie a secret until Spider-Man 3 releases next year. This means that fans aren't going to see Matt Murdock in any of the film's marketing before its release.

Of course, as with any rumor, we would like to remind fans to take this report with a grain of salt. We can't really be certain about Daredevil appearing in Spider-Man 3 until we get official word from Marvel.

Spider-Man 3 is set to premiere on July 16, 2021.
