The tragic passing of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman is still a bitter pill to swallow and as we're approaching a full month since the shocking incident transpired, the outpour of support for the late actor hasn't come to an end and rightfully so.
In fact, artist and Disney imagineer Nikkolas Smith unveiled his jaw-dropping mural which was put up in Downtown Disney in Anaheim, California. Taking to Instagram to share the astonishing work of art, Nikkolas wrote: "This one is special. My King Chad tribute is now on a wall on display at Downtown Disney. It is a full-circle moment for me: my final two projects as a Disney Imagineer last summer were working on the Children's Hospital project and the Avengers Campus. To millions of kids, T'Challa was a legend larger than life, and there was no one more worthy to fill those shoes than Chadwick Boseman. I'm so thankful to be able to honor Chadwick's life and purpose in this way. I am grateful to the Disney family for being so supportive of my journey as an artist."
The beautifully-crafted mural features Chadwick and what seems to be a child patient in a heartwarming moment as they both do the now-iconic cross-arm gesture aka the Wakanda salute made popular by Chadwick himself. It's amazing how Chadwick has become a figure that evokes strength and positivity amidst all the uncertainty in this world and even after he left earth to travel through the astral plane, his legacy will forever remain engraved in our hearts and minds. The fact that a lot of people still mourn his passing just shows you how beloved he was on and off-camera. We'll never truly see someone like him again. Wakanda forever!
Chadwick Boseman's last appearance in the MCU came in 2019's Avengers: Endgame.
