An official trailer has been released for one of the biggest shows Netflix has with Castlevania at the end of its line with Season 4 being the last of the original series. With the release of the trailer, we get what to expect towards the end of the series as it shows some horrifyingly bloody scenes.
Castlevania is based on the Konami video game series which follows Trevor Belmont, Alucard, and Sypha Belnades as they go together in efforts of defending Wallachia, their nation, from Dracula and his crew. Dracula is so powerful that he summons demons that wreak havoc over the country and that alone threatens the lives of everyone.
Writer Warren Ellis was so inspired by the supernatural aesthetic of Castlevania that he brought it to Netflix. While this fourth season marks the last of the series, the makers of Castlevania teased that there is a possibility of a spinoff series which is near reality given the popularity of the show on Netflix as it elevated the game of the streaming platform especially when it comes to original anime series.
Castlevania has paved the way for Netflix to secure the adaptations of other anime series such as Devil May Cry, Assassin's Creed, among others.
All the three previous seasons are up on Netflix now so if you want to catch up with Castlevania or if you're just starting to watch the anime series, you still have time before the arrival of season four as it releases on May 13, 2021.
