Carrie Fisher’s Daughter Billie Lourd Says She's Not Playing Princess Leia in Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Carrie Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, got a role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and for obvious reasons, fans speculated that she would play a Young Princess Leia in a flashback scene, but the 22-year old Scream Queens actress just confirmed that she's not playing her mother's character.

Lourd put those rumors to rest when she was interviewed with ET's Cameron Mathison

"That's a lie. That's a rumor," said Billie. "I wish I played a young princess."

Now that gives fans with a lot of speculating to do. Of course, she can't reveal her role in The Force Awakens.

"I can't talk to you about the character, or the lack of character," she admitted. "I didn't even say that. That was too much."

There you go. Sorry to the fans expecting to see a flashback scene in the film. I speculate that she's playing a minor character who will assist Princess Leia on doing some badass moves, but we'll have to wait and see. What kind of role do you think she'll have in Star Wars: The Force Awakens?
