Carrie Fisher Is in Stable Condition After Suffering a Major Heart Attack

On Christmas, Carrie Fisher's mother Debbie Reynolds tweeted a picture with a statement saying that "Carrie is in stable condition" and that if there are any changes, she will share it. Todd Fisher told ET that Carrie Fisher is currently in the Intensive Care Unit, saying, "she is being well looked after... If everyone could just pray for her that would be good. The doctors are doing their thing and we don't want to bug them. We are waiting by patiently." Despite the previous good news that Carrie was in stable condition, it looks like things are still uncertain. Todd went on to tell ET, "We certainly do not know her condition, that's why she is in ICU. I'm sure everyone wants to speculate, but now is not the time for that."

Carrie Fisher's brother, Todd Fisher, told The Associated Press that actress Carrie Fisher is now "out of emergency" and in stable condition. He declined to comment further. Her only child, Billie Lourd, and dog Gary were at her side at the hospital, according to TMZ.

Carrie suffered a severe heart attack earlier this Friday while flying into LAX from London. She was rushed to the hospital by the LA Fire Department when her plane landed.
