We already know that Carol Danvers will have an adorable little sidekick called Goose in Captain Marvel. However, it looks like the feline isn't the only possible scene-stealer in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. The new TV spot for the film teases our first look at Monica Rambeau.
It has already been confirmed that Monica's mother Maria Rambeau is a major part of Captain Marvel. Interestingly, the film's new TV spot might give us a glimpse at young Photon herself. Watch the video below.
At one point, we see Carol emerging from a house in her classic Captain Marvel suit. She then turns to a young girl asking, "How do I look?" The girl quickly answers, "Fresh" and gives Carol a high five. Considering that the house looks like Maria's home, it's possible that the young girl is her daughter Monica.
It's still unclear how the movie will play out but there are speculations that Monica will be introduced and given a new backstory in the film. Is it possible that Carol's actions will lead to the young girl getting her superpowers? We'll have to wait until the premiere of Captain Marvel.
The new TV spot may have also shown us a glimpse at Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser. The character has yet to make an actual appearance in the teasers and trailers but we might be seeing more of the Guardians of the Galaxy villain really soon.
Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 8.
