Captain Marvel Star Jude Law Possibly Got Engaged Ahead of MCU Film's Premiere

It looks like wedding bells will soon be ringing for Jude Law. The Captain Marvel actor has reportedly gotten engaged right before the premiere of the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.

According to The Sun, Law had popped the question to longtime girlfriend Phillipa Coan. Coan is a business psychologist and the couple has been together for four years. However, it looks like Law isn't taking his time in tying the knot. The wedding is reportedly set in France in May this year.

The outlet reports that "the venue has been booked and the local mayor will carry out the wedding with a party following on later." In addition to that, Law's eldest son Rafferty will serve as best man at his father's wedding.

A source offered some interesting details about the wedding plans.

"The wedding itself will be a good old fashioned knees up with plenty of booze and dancing. All his old pals are going from when he was growing up in London and just starting out in his career," the source revealed. "Jude and Phillipa have been going out together for years and get on really well, so this is the next natural step. Jude is busy working on various projects but they always make time to meet up either in London or on location."

Law has several projects up ahead. He is set to play Yon-Rogg in Captain Marvel and return as the young Albus Dumbledore in the third Fantastic Beasts film. Law will also reunite with Robert Downey Jr. in the third Sherlock Holmes movie, which is due out in December 2020.
