Captain Marvel Classic Suit Teased In New Magazine Cover

Brie Larson will finally debut as Captain Marvel next year and it looks like she will be sporting Carol Danvers' classic red-and-blue suit.

We already got a glimpse at Larson wearing a green suit that didn't rest well with most fans. However, the new cover for Mundo dos Super-Herois magazine suggests that Carol will be donning her classic colors in Captain Marvel. Check it out below.

The magazine cover certainly has a concept art feel. Although Mundo dos Super-Herois has not confirmed whether the image was provided by Marvel, the costume looks a lot better than the green suit. Hopefully, this means that Carol will initially wear the green one that connects her to the Kree then put on the suit that truly symbolizes Captain Marvel.

The synopsis for Captain Marvel reads as follows:

"The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe."

Captain Marvel is bringing back Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson. The film will also feature Guardians of the Galaxy characters Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Korath (Djimon Hounsou).

Larson takes the lead in Captain Marvel, which premieres on March 8, 2019. She will then reprise her role as Carol Danvers in Avengers 4, which is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
