Captain Marvel: Agent Coulson, Ronan the Accuser, and Korath to Appear

It's been said that Brie Larson's Captain Marvel will be making her debut in Avengers: Infinity War, but we get to watch her origin movie early next year. Production has officially started for the film, and the cast has included some Marvel veterans from Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Marvel has released a breakdown of the cast for Captain Marvel, and it includes the likes of Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson), Lee Pace (Ronan the Accuser), and Djimon Hounsou (Korath the Pursuer). Seeing that this story is set in the 90s, it would make sense for these previously deceased characters to return; Coulson with 90s era S.H.I.E.L.D. and Ronan and with the Kree. Korath doesn't necessarily look like a Kree, but it can be assumed that he's with Ronan.

Then again, what if Korath was a human that Ronan had enslaved to be his servant? Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.

With Wonder Woman being a massive success for the DCEU, people are wondering what Marvel has to offer when it comes to female superheroes. After ten years of the MCU, you'd think we'd have gotten one movie lead by a superheroine.

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, "Captain Marvel" is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8, 2019 but you can see her in Avengers: Infinity War on April 27.
