The good folks over at Epic Games aren't done with their collaboration with Marvel. In fact, they've recently added more Marvel goodies to Fortnite's latest update. Captain Marvel, Taskmaster, and Black Panther have all been added to the hit battle royale game's latest Marvel Royalty and Warriors pack. The new DLC feature includes skins and themed accessories that players can wield and it's already available for purchase.
A lot of Marvel fans are undoubtedly thrilled over this new DLC pack but CaptainMarvel herself Brie Larson just might be the happiest. An avid video game player and a huge fan of the Fortnite games, Larson took to her Twitter account to celebrate Carol Danvers' epic Fortnite debut. Posting a photo of her trusty Nintendo Switch with the aforementioned DLC pack, Brie wrote: "Standing with superhero royalty." Check it out here:
Speaking of Captain Marvel, the character is confirmed to return for Captain Marvel 2 which has been confirmed to feature multiple Captain Marvels in Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau aka Spectrum. This of course begs the question: why would Carol Danvers need company when she's already that powerful? Something tells me that the film will tie directly into the upcoming Disney+ show Secret Invasion headlined by Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury. Could the Skrulls finally expose their true colors?
Meanwhile, Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
