Let's not kid ourselves, Captain America's epic showdown with Thanos during Avengers: Endgame's final battle is still one of the most spine-chilling moments in all of the MCU, and Steve Rogers wielding the Mjolnir for the first time several years after he first teased his capability to make use of Thor's weapon of choice is arguably the film's true highlight.

Now, Marvel Studios artist Ryan Meinerding shared early concept art featuring the "worthy" Steve Rogers taking the Mad Titan to his limits. According to the head of Visual Development, he had so much fun working on the initial sketches for their encounter which had most of us on the edge of our seats! Check out their epic clash in concept art form below:

Now that Thanos is no more, it's time that we look into the future. Who do you think will be the MCU's next main baddie? Some theories suggest that it'll be Kang the Conqueror considering he'll appear in Ant-Man 3. While he'd be a huge threat to the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, what if the MCU's next villain is actually a character so unassuming, it will catch us all off guard? The Skrulls could potentially turn back to their villainous ways but I don't know, maybe a certain Wanda Maximoff would wreak havoc come Phase 5? The possibilities are endless and my body is totally ready for what's to come!

Meanwhile, the MCU's next film, Black Widow is slated to hit cinemas in May 2021!
