Capcom Interested in More Resident Evil Remakes

January is going to be a huge month for gamers with the release of Capcom's Resident Evil 2 Remake, which has so many people excited. The game uses the graphics engine of Resident Evil 7 and the gameplay of Resident Evil 4 but more focused on horror over action. People who have played the game only say positive things about it, which bodes well for its future.

Capcom seems to be aware of how happy this remake is making people and are looking into making more of them in the future, particularly ones based on Resident Evil games. This means that we could get a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis or Code Veronica.

This isn't a huge surprise since the company has been publishing a number of remasters these past few months. We've had the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection and the Mega Man X Legacy Collection (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2). Also, in the lead up to Resident Evil 7's release, Capcom remastered Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 for current-gen systems. It also seems like Capcom is interested in making new entries to their beloved franchises, recently announcing Mega Man 11 and Devil May Cry 5.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake comes out on January 29 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
