Cable Looks Bruised And Battered In New Image From Deadpool 2

After the tragic news of a stuntwoman dying on the set of Deadpool 2, production is back in gear, and we have a new image of Josh Brolin's Cable looking bruised and battered.

Check it out:

Now we don't know which scene this is in particular, but it's possible that this could be an image of Cable from the future before he makes the time jump to present day. We've been getting a lot of images of Brolin and Zazie Beetz (Domino) on the street, but this image looks a lot darker, and could possibly be from a set.

With Cable's messy origin from the comics, the movie is said to take a few liberties with his backstory. That's all fine and well as long as Brolin's Cable stays true to the character—very much like Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool.

So far we don't have a full synopsis on the plot for Deadpool 2, but creator Rob Liefeld has gone to say that this movie will be the Rush Hour of comic book movies. By that description you can guess that Deadpool and Cable are going on a buddy-cop adventure. Expect returning characters like Weasel, Colossus, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead to be along for the ride as well.

Deadpool 2 comes out June 1, 2018.
