Bumblebee Trailer Coming Out This Week

December's Bumblebee spin-off might be the final Transformers movie coming out but it could go out with Quality. No longer directed by Michael Bay, this movie will have the talented Travis Knight of Kubo and the Two Strings fame on the helm. Fans have been curious about the film and we should be able to find out soon, as the first trailer comes out this week.

Former WWE Champion John Cena, who is also one of the film's stars, confirmed that there would be a new trailer this coming Tuesday via a video from the official German Transformers Facebook account.

Essentially a prequel to the Transformers films, Knight has promised a different tone from the previous movies and would be more similar to something like the Iron Giant. What will really be interesting is if it details how the Autobot loses his voice and is forced to communicate with the radio's various channels.

Since Transformers 6was removed from Paramount's film schedule, it seems like the series' future is relying on this spin-off film. They could always reboot the franchise since Bay's films aren't exactly critical darlings, though all of those films have made billions of dollars for some reason.

Bumblebee is still slated for a December 21 release but any other Transformers movie after that is still uncertain.
