BTS's Suga debuted his new curly hairstyle, which many see as a hint at a possible collaboration with the Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze. So, are these two working together?

Suga surprised fans with his new look in a post on Instagram on Sunday, November 6. He's now sporting longer and curly hair, so what does this style change mean?

Suga's Possible Collaboration with Fujii Kaze

Fujii Kaze reposted Suga's new look on his Instagram Stories, heightening the rumors that a new project is maybe brewing between the two.

Fans also noticed that the Japanese artist's album cover photo for his latest hit, "Shinunoga E-wa," is similar to Suga's picture.

To add more fuel to the fire, the BTS member went to Japan for a little while in September, resulting in speculations that he could have been working on something with the 25-year-old singer-songwriter.

Suga as a Favorite American Musicians Collaborator

Aside from fellow Asian artists, BTS has worked with several high-profile Western musical acts, like Nicki Minaj, Desiigner, Sia, and more.

The group is also doing well, performing solo and collaborating with international stars individually, and one of them is Suga.

Before 2021 ended, Suga made it to the Hot 100 again with his hit song "Girl of My Dreams," which turned out to be his first top 40 hit.

He collaborated with the late rapper Juice WRLD for the song, which became a part of the latter’s second posthumous album, Fighting Demons.

Its inclusion on the weekly ranking of the most-consumed track in the U.S. was a huge win for Suga, resulting in a rare top 40 placement among K-pop soloists.

That said, this helped Suga become famous among international musicians, making them interested in working with him and BTS.
