BTS Suga is not dating anyone publicly. Reports have consequently concluded that he is single as of the time of writing.
Despite not being in a relationship to date, though, he is among the K-pop idols who have faced dating rumors and speculations over the years. Some of the most apparent names include Wendy of Red Velvet and IU.
The theories and rumors seemingly emerged after working with them on some music projects in the past. But, these talks among the public were unfounded and unsubstantiated, making them mere speculations at best.
Even so, Suga once revealed what his ideal type looks like during an interview on MBC’s C-Radio Idol True Colors, according to Kpop Starz.
BTS Suga Reveals His Type, Ideal Girl
The BTS rapper shared that he does not have a specific preference when it comes to this matter. But, he pointed out that he wants a girl who would “charm” him on their first encounter.
He added that “personality” matters among all. Moreover, he wants someone who has the same music preferences and taste as his, allowing them to have a common interest.
Suga revealed, as well, that it does not matter if the relationship is long-distance. He stated that he is “comfortable dating non-Koreans.”

In 2018, the Agust D artist told Elle Russia why dating could be challenging for him and the rest of his co-members. He explained that they have an extremely busy schedule every day of the week, according to Bollywood Life.
Suga continued that they would get to work as soon as they woke up in the morning. The working hours would even last nearly 24 hours, adding that they would have to start it all over again the next day.
The BTS member added that he and the rest of the group would not get time for anything other than work. Jimin agreed and pointed out that they even got no time to see their families due to their schedules.
