BTS RM has been open about the members' past mental health struggles amid their skyrocketing fame. As the group's leader, he assures that even the fandom members are also physically, emotionally, and mentally healthy.

Ever since the supergroup launched the Love Myself Campaign and #ENDviolence, among others, RM has been touching everyone's lives with personal stories about loneliness and self-esteem.

This time, the rapper seemingly spoke against Grammys after the group only garnered one nomination.

BTS Still Suffers From Unfair Treatment Amid Success

Grammys announced that the organization changed its rules to ensure equal recognition among artists. However, the nominations for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ultimately snubbed the group despite their continuous success.

During a press conference at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, RM reflected on the group's failure to garner nominations on Grammys despite sweeping several award-giving bodies' charts.

"We secured the AMAs' artist of the year and a Grammy nomination, which means a lot to an artist," he said, per Korea Times. "Still, I feel there is an invisible wall, such as our identity as an artist who began its career in South Korea and language limitations."

For what it's worth, the K-pop group was only nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, competing against Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga (I Get A Kick Out of You), Justin Bieber and benny blanco (Lonely), Coldplay (Higher Power), and Doja Cat + SZA (Kiss Me More).

It was the same award they lost last time, witnessing Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande garner the award instead. As a result, ARMYs expressed their dismay over Recording Academy's seemingly unfair judgment despite changing its rules.

The organization is yet to comment on why BTS only got one nomination. Still, the group does not let things like that hinder them in giving their fans what they deserve.

BTS To Always Give Fans The Best Performances

Amid the frustrations they felt following the snub, RM assured fans that BTS would always give their best since all those small moments they share with the fandom always lead to success.

Indeed, the supergroup already won 407 out of 607 nominations they earned so far. On top of that, BTS instantly became the first Asian act to win the Artist of the Year award in the event. In addition to that, the group also won the Favorite Pop Duo or Group and Favorite Pop Song awards during the AMAs.

At that time, RM said they would never take the honor for granted.

"It's been a long and amazing ride since then, but nobody could have ever bet on the odds of us standing here receiving this award. Except for the ARMY. Seven boys from Korea, united by a love for music, met the love and support from all the ARMY all over the world," he went on.

If BTS loses this year's Grammys again, they would surely win someday and bring home the glory to fans.
