BTS broke and made several Guinness World Records that they might soon publish their own book.

Each month since BTS conquered the K-pop scene, they always bring home nominations and awards that prove their power as musicians. They even made it to the top record-breakers by having a total of 25 records as of 2021.

With that number, they were inducted into the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame last year.

But the show is not over for BTS, as they added another record under their belt after winning the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

BTS Breaks Own Guinness World Record!

BTS brought home the award for Favorite Music Group during the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The recent achievement became their third Favorite Music Group award from the show and the sixth trophy from the Kids’ Choice Awards.

After getting the recognition on April 9, they extended their own Guinness World Record for the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards won by a music group. They officially surpassed Fifth Harmony, whom they were tied to last year.

The Guinness World Record’s website noted that 2021 became the most fruitful one for the group, as they earned three awards last year – Favorite Music Group, Favorite Global Music Star, and Favorite Song.

In 2018 and 2020, they scored the Favorite Global Music Star and Favorite Music Group, respectively.

BTS Thanks Fans For Love, Support

BTS was not able to attend the awards ceremony in person, but the members accepted their award through a pre-taped speech.

Nickelodeon’s official Twitter account shared the video, with RM delivering words of gratitude to fans on the members’ behalf.

“Thank you, KCA [Kids’ Choice Awards] and ARMY [BTS’s fandom], for the Favorite Music Group award. We’re honored and so grateful to receive the award.” Jimin chimed in, “This award is for you, ARMY. We are touched by your love and cheer,” the leader said.

BTS also got heartfelt attention during their recent sold-out stadium residency in Las Vegas.
