BTS Look at Maul in Solo: A Star Wars Story

One of the biggest reveals to come out of Solo: A Star Wars Story was the revelation that Darth Maul has been the man behind the Crimson Dawn syndicate. It was a twist nobody saw coming, and thanks to the Making of Solo book, we have a BTS image of Ray Park in his Maul outfit preparing to shoot his scene.

It's great that we actually get to see Maul this way, seeing as he was just a hologram when we saw him in Solo. You can clearly see how he also has markings down his chest, plus we also have him wearing a Crimson Dawn medallion.

Though Solo: A Star Wars Story was considered to have underperformed in the box office, a lot of fans who have seen the film have nothing but praise for it. In fact, a big factor to the film's failure was actually Disney choosing to water down promotion so they could focus on the release of Avengers: Endgame; not to mention the May release kind of made the franchise feel a tad oversaturated, with fans still not getting over The Last Jedi.

While there are rumors that Lucasfilm is considering a Solo series, I'm kind of hoping that a sequel could still happen for the film. Alden Ehrenreich was a fantastic Han, and I'm sure a lot of fans want to see Maul take the spotlight once again.

A sequel to Solo: A Star Wars Story has not been officially announced.
