BTS will show its influence once again while helping its country in one special event.

BTS members have been taking a break from group activities since June to allow themselves to focus on solo work. They worked together for the last time in April during its latest concert in Las Vegas.

Despite the break, the group will come together again to serve its country and help it reach a special goal.

BTS Yet To Come in Busan Happening in October 2022

Big Hit Music confirmed in a statement to The Korea Herald on Wednesday that the K-pop supergroup will hold the Yet To Come in Busan event on October 15 in Gijang-gun, Busan.

The event will welcome 100,000 attendees at the in-person venue. Meanwhile, a real-time Live Play broadcast will also be played at the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal. Zepeto and Weverse will also livestream the event.

BTS took the massive step as the honorary ambassador of the event. They became the representatives of the 2030 Busan World Expo in July. With that, the group also decided to make it free of charge to those who want to see them live.

“The tickets will be free of charge and allocated through a lottery system. There will be two rounds of giveaways,” the agency said.

Big Hit Music has not revealed how concert-goers can obtain the tickets, but it hinted that details would be released soon.

Before the event happened, BTS leader RM delivered a heartfelt statement during the appointment ceremony on July 19, saying that they would work hard to support the bid and attract people to South Korea.

Busan’s Bid To Host 2030 World Expo

BTS’ recent move came after The Korea Society officially posted an invitation to the event, which would be presented by Ambassador Enna Park.

World Expos are a global gathering of nations where representatives tackle potential solutions to global problems. Aside from Busan, four other places also made it to the list of candidates, including Riyadh, Rome, Odessa, and Moscow.

As for Busan, its event will focus on the theme “Transforming Our World, Navigating Toward a Better Future.”
