Brie Larson Hopes The Captain Marvel And Valkyrie Ship Never Ends

Brie Larson's Carol Danvers didn't have any sort of love interest when she debuted in Captain Marvel last month, opening up room for all sorts of possibilities in future films.

While some fans love the idea of the Asgardian of Thunder, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), initiating a romance with Captain Marvel after seeing the two interact in the first full trailer for Avengers: Endgame, others have been hoping to see Carol Danvers get together with Thor: Ragnarok's Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson).

Fans have been shipping the two Marvel heroes online, creating and sharing more and more art of Carol and Valkyrie together. It turns out all of this art of the two are making Brie Larson pretty glad because the Captain Marvel star says she doesn't want the ship to ever end.

A Marvel fan just recently created a lovely piece featuring Captain Marvel and Valkyrie back to back with each other. Tagging Larson in her post, the fan said that "I've worked on this for three days, let's go girls."

Supporting the artist, Larson decided to share the art work, adding in a little note saying that she hopes the ship doesn't die out anytime soon.

Gushing over the idea of seeing an LGBTQ Captain Marvel, some are hoping to see the Valkyrie x Carol Danvers ship make its way to the MCU.

Whether or not it happens depends on Marvel, but we're still hoping that we get to see the two fight alongside each other, especially in that all-female superhero team-up movie that Thompson proposed to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
