Breaking Bad Spinoff Film El Camino Gets New Teaser and Poster

Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk had teased that the Breaking Bad movie had already wrapped filming, and though we were expecting a release sometime in 2020, Netflix has just revealed that the movie will be coming this October.

As per the video announcement, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is set to come out on Netflix on Oct. 11 this year. We don't really have many details on the plot, but the teaser does confirm that Jesse Pinkman is on the run, and the feds want to get their hands on him.

Here's the official poster as well:

What I find curious is the choice of title, and it's said that El Camino in Spanish translates to "the way." It's kind of corny when you think about it, but based on what creator Vince Gilligan has brought us with Breaking Bad and the fantastic Better Call Saul, I'm not expecting any less when it comes to El Camino.

This is just my speculation, but Pinkman is basically one of the few characters left alive at the end of Breaking Bad, and it will be interesting to see how he puts everything behind him in the film. We know that Walt is dead, and the Whites want nothing to do with Jesse; his family has basically disowned him, and there's no Mike or Saul to tell Jesse what to do. If anything, the only friends that Jesse has left are Badger and Skinny Pete, and I don't expect them to have the biggest roles in El Camino.

That's just my guess at least.

Catch El Camino: A Breaking BadMovie when it hits Netflix on Oct. 11.
